To keep up drawing Educators attention to useful (and free!) coding resources – we’d like to point out Google have created a set of Christmas themed resources, specifically for primary school use.
These activities are designed to be warm up exercises, extension activities or writing prompts – with a specific focus towards coding, utilising the familiar block building approach found in Scratch, Hopscotch and similar.
The activities cover holiday traditions all around the world and offer coding resources that include building Christmas cards or completing December related challenges.
They have even provided PDFS and Video Tutorials on how best to work this into your lessons.
Follow the link here for the specific Educators page, and hope there’s something useful that can be incorporated into your lessons or Christmas ICT time.
